We're in the final edits for Matzo Match, the first book in the series I've dreamt up about queers falling in love on Jewish holidays. We've approved the cover (OMG, look at it!), are finalizing edits, and it's available for preorder. Truly, a dream come true.
I've always loved romance novels. When I was a child, my grandmother would let me read her paperback dime novels, and tell me to "skip the naughty bits." As I grew up, love stories became my safety blanket of sorts (and I definitely didn't skip the naughty bits - sorry, grandma). Over the pandemic, I've found that all I want to read is romance because I'm guaranteed a HEA (happily ever after).
So, when I finally sat down to live out my dream of being a writer, I knew it would be a romance I was writing. What surprised me was how many stories I realized I have stored up in my heart and head that I can't wait to tell. For the next year I'm going to focus on following the Jewish calendar with tales of couples who fall in love over Seders, light menorahs together, party at Purim, and so much more. I can't wait to bring the "Hot for the Holidays" series to life.
First up, a matchmaking scheme gone right over Passover in Matzo Match. I hope you enjoy reading about Sam and Jordan's love story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Samantha is still healing from heartbreak, but her best friend has decided she's taken long enough. With Passover just around the corner, will a surprise blind date, three celebrations in eight days, and approximately 100 glasses of wine be enough to finally move on? After one taste of the hard-bodied, immaculately dressed Jordan, it just might be time. Too bad Jordan has her own baggage to work through. Matzo Match is a scorching lesbian love story and the first entry in the "Hot for the Holidays" series.
